Childish Gambino is realllly nice. I'm digging his music lately.
Best Hip-Hop album ever? No.

But definitely nice.

I have been jamming his EP for the past couple weeks. I am a big fan of it. He's funny, clever, and the beats are very nice. Freaks and Geeks is so good.

Madness.....I love that!

I love that he covers all of the parts himself from playing that intro to taking over Rihanna hooks and everything else

Default Childish Gambino

What do you guys think of Childish Gambino? If you haven't heard of him, he's an independent rapper who will be signed very soon. You can get his songs for free at datpiff.com, thissongissick.com, or goodmusicallday.com. He has a really good flow and puts a lot of emotion into his songs. What do you think of him?

I'm a fan. Hopefully he can put his full weight behind his music and take a break from acting and comedy. "F*ck It All" is definitely my favorite track of his.

I agree. He needs to focus on his music because that's what I think he's best at. My favorites by him are "Freaks and Geeks" and "Break".

"The Great Gambino" was more solid and consistant than "Culdesac" in my opinion, but I enjoyed both. I like how he actually mentions being considered a "nerd" and how people think that he acts "white" and that he makes rap that only white kids would like. He takes the "backpack rap" and "nerdcore" labels that get thrown at him and flips it.

He's working on an album coming out in September and this is one of the new songs from it.

Can't wait to hear the full version of this clip. I'm loving that beat.
