Nov. 9, 1981 - Oct. 17, 2010

Freestyle battler from the Rhymesayers label (Most well known for P.O.S. and Dessa), and one half of Eyedea & Abilities. Toured with Atmosphere, Aesop Rock, Sage Francis, and Blueprint and released 6 albums in 13 year existence. Apparently he was found dead by his mother this morning, or so says a few rappers I follow on Twitter.

Just happened today, so an autopsy won't be performed until tomorrow earliest, depending on how backed up the coroners office is, it could be a few days before a cause is determined.

Very sad, I don't like it when good hip hop artists die.

I've been searching around... so far no news stories or anything, just blogs. Although I wouldn't be surprised if it never got press attention though. I doubt they know who he is.

I think it's going to come back a natural death, well a freak natural death, as a 28 year old dying suddenly is certainly not natural. I never really got the sense that he was ever into hard drugs, but you never know, still I hope he didn't OD cause it is going to affect my opinion on him.

Chances are, it's OD or suicide. I wasn't aware of any condition he had, and although people that young have dropped dead from heart attacks and other natural phenomenon, it doesn't seem like he'd have been at risk for anything... especially not while sitting or sleeping in his room.

Of course, this is all assuming that the whole thing isn't a hoax or a really bad prank. Time will tell.
