Can't lie, I am starting to agree with this review in general. I LOVED it the first few listens, but the effect is wearing very quickly.

Still prefer it to NLDW.

I refuse to watch the wheezing gas bag Fantano. But I felt sorta underwhelmed at first listen.
I think when you first experience Death Grips, the brutal rawness and in your face pulsating style just consumes you. My first listen to The Money Store was nothing short of epic.

However, I feel I've had my fill of Death Grips. They don't hold the awe inspiring element that they used to for me. The shock value of how heavy and frantic they are has somewhat worn off on me, I've become accustomed to it.

I know this album saw them experiment with more electronic sounds but I don't think they're ever likely to beat TMS in terms of quality.

After listening to Government Plates and No Love Deep Web. I'm like wtf did I even see in Death Grips in the first place.

I think for me this is a case of falling into the hive mind. Everyone on MB praised them so much that when I listened to TMS. I thought I actually liked them more than I normally do. They just don't do it for me and I feel like they are overrated.

Well, those two are their worst albums in fairness.

And TMS was fully worth the hype/praise it received on here.

Only got into these guys recently and I haven't even listened to Government Plates yet but news of more music from them this year is always good.

I'd like to disagree. They're pumping out too much too fast and it's just getting lost in the shuffle.
Other than The Money Store, nothing else has justified how quickly it was thrust out there.
I'd like to see them take their time and give us more diverse records.

Ya I really wish they'd take a little more time and release an album that could just blow my ****ing mind. Right now I feel like their last two albums have had INCREDIBLE singles but when you really listen to the album from beggining to end it can get really dull. As much as I'd like a Death Grips album a year I'd rather wait two or three years to get their best possible effort then what they're giving out right now.
