Just downloaded and listened to 7089 thinking it was his new album (actually pretty impressed, some really nice production on there).

I thought Section. 80 was alright but over-hyped and I don't like that Swimming Pools song, so I'm not expecting to like this that much, but we'll see. Back in a bit, downloading...

I do not like this album all that much...

Some of the worst hooks I have ever heard. "Sing About Me" FUKING HELL MAN...

kenderick lamar just spontaneously became "the best rapper" as of late for no apparent reason.

He's good and can rap fast but he's not like that cool

He is passable on it, but It's got a lot of trashy beats and hooks.

Kind of meh. I agree with Goofle about the hooks, but I've felt that way about everything else I've heard from him anyways. That Peer Pressure song stood out to me as my favourite track.

I think it's pretty good. I think I like it more than Section.80, but I'm gonna have to listen to it a few more times just to be sure.

"Good Kid" was a nice track. I liked another, probably "Peer Pressure". Poor album from Kendrick, but still above average in the grand scheme of things.

Goofle, do you think that this is a result of getting signed to a major label, or another case of an artist getting over hyped, or a little of both?
