the skrillex song is exceptionally bad

the chorus goes "wild for the night stop being polite!" lol with an awful synth that wouldn't sound out of place in a valley fair commercial

See I imagined that'd be awful but the P4k review was all glowing and golden and shit

Kendrick is about 100x better than ASAP, though. And I kind of like ASAP. Kendrick is just that good.

GKMC got a 9.5 lol

Thanks for the heads up, just queued the album on Spotify now. Expecting nothing, hopefully that sets me up for a surprise.

Good Kid Mad City was Top 5 for me last year, there weren't many better albums, although I do stay clear of Pitchfork, it attracts the moths like a bright light.
I have A$AP Rocky's album but have put off listening to it, the Skrillex song being the main detriment. Seriously everything he releases is a mind boggling monstrosity that sounds like dog whistles but for humans.

That track actually isn't as bad as you are imagining. It definitely stands out like a sore thumb, but it's subdued-Skrillex (if you can imagine that kind of thing).
