My TOTD has to be Jay Electronicas Rennaisance Man

"My grandmother wont leave the ****ing projects I gotta raise the slum up" I love the backing vocals and loop on this one.

also, to be fair to my thread:

dutone: sorry man, as much as I support Jay Electronica, enjoy that track AND hope he drops a classic album... haven't you heard "Love Is..."? /end of convo

manky: is that you rapping on the track? sorry man, whoever that is, Blu did it justice... leave it alone (same principle that applies to Common ripping "Love Is"). but i gotta say, whoever was dropping a verse on that has potential, and i hope they stick with it, they got an idea about keeping a multi-syllabic rhyme scheme... i just hope they get more creative with how they do inject it, 'cause it got kinda boring/monochromatic.

i'm probably biased, but i'm pretty sure that Sole track is the dopest track dropped in this thread

maybe even the dopest track posted on MB as of late, at least for the hip hop section... you cats been getting mad boring! glad Freebase is showing some love!

Default here's 2 more track of the days...

for 1 poster who requested it!

here's what i've been bumping today

ok, look: "new" "old school" cats.. they LOVE to show love to Damu because his tracks are new but sound old school... i don't give his as much props because he's ripping off a LOT of older cats, but i can't deny that i liked the sound of his beats, so it is what it is... sample is DOPE though

either way, peep these tracks, you like what you like

Really? Do something because you want to not because you have a need to be showered with praise for finding a dope track. Come on now.

It's not me haha. But, yeah I agree with what you said. Still a pretty good flow and the lyrics aren't too shabby either.
