I'm pretty brutal when it comes to my criticism of emcees, I've actually told Goofle this and admit it's something I should work on being less snooty about.

I don't see a problem with that, I'm super picky about hip-hop in general. Most everything I enjoy, hip hop wise, hails from the East Coast. All other **** kind of irritates me. I like very conscious rap with dope beats, not wannabe thugs. Nor pretty boy rappers with, I'll admit, good taste in fashion, but lack writing decent versus and opt for a hooky chorus. **** that ****.

I recently came to the conclusion that EL-P is better than both.

Cancer 4 Cure, and both RTJ are the extent of my El-P exposure. Let's just say he's a better MC in RTJ.

Disagree completely with that. Also, you have to listen to his first two albums, and Co-Flow.

Ja RTJ is definitely inferior to El-P's solo work in terms of lyricism. I think RTJ's beats are better than Company Flow's, but lyrically El-P's solo work is more personal and in depth than RTJ. RTJ is him having fun with Mike, the way I see it.
