Default Aesop Rock's Build Your Own Bazooka Tooth set... Favorite remixes

When Aesop Rock put out Bazooka Tooth, he also released a disc with the a capellas and another with the beats. He told people to go wild on the remixes. He even had a contest for it, but it has since been removed from the net so I don't know who won.

I have two different remix sets - MagOWL and Mercwaters remix the whole Bazooka Tooth and they both did it right. I'll post up links to all the videos instead of embedding them. It would be hell for low bandwidth folks like myself anyway.

There was also one I ran across called Crunk and Bugbites mix that remixed the whole album with Lil Jon beats and that popular Dead Prez beat and it was pretty whack after one listen. But it was worth laughing at.

I haven't been able to find any whole album remixes besides those mentioned ^ but that can't be all. When I search youtube, I find a couple individual tracks here and there, some really good, some not. But I haven't found any others. If anyone does, let me know.

I guess I found another guy named Mishap that did just about every if not every track, so after I check him out more, I'll post some of his and tell ya what I think.

OK I officially can't find ANY of the Mercwaters mixes on youtube. But his are pretty much must-hear. This is ridiculous. I'm gonna have to upload this album? Maybe. Hope MagOWLs are on youtube. Yeah, not really, but at least there was one:

I really like how he brings that guitar in. I like the original beat just fine, but now this is my go-to version.

As far as Mercwaters goes (Bazooka Toothless), my favorites are NY Electric, Easy, No Jumper Cables, Cook It Up, Freeze, We're Famous, Babies With Guns, Greatest Pac-Man Victory in History. Almost the whole album I know. He did a damn fine job with this.

As far as magOwl goes (Bazooka Beard), my favorites are Freeze, Greatest Pac-Man Victory in History, and We're Famous. This one's a little more hit or miss for me, but I like what he did for the most part.

I recommend grabbing the magOwl and Mercwaters remixes any way you can. I think they came with my Aesop discography from the torrenting.

But here's a couple that I was listening to while typing the other post, by this new guy Mishap:

He's got some ... interesting ideas.

Oh and I just checked this:

That's the best version of NY Electric I've heard I think.

And I guess Team Teamwork had a copy too...

That's all for now.

I've had that video for a while now. I thought it was gonna be a Bosico remix, but yeah, that's the regular track. I didn't think it was 'chopped' so I guess I don't know what that means.
