It uses trap beats, but I would say electronic for sure.

y'all are gonna think it's hip hop as soon as someone raps over these, which wouldn't be very hard at all.

Azealia Banks is hip hop and she uses unconventional beats like these, same with danny brown.

I guess its genre crossing but still

Well, yeah the rapping is the genre-defining trait. But that's like saying Can and Daft Punk are both hip hop because their songs had the potential for Kanye West to rap over them.

Anyway... I got this album earlier today and am loving it. Good call PL!
