I didnt think anyone would know what I mean by New Wave but yeah lol.I feel like R&B has become one-dimensional and lazy similar to rap.I think artists like The Weeknd and Frank Ocean add like a new element to R&B.Same with SZA,Jhene Aiko, and Tinashe.

Okay my Brandy review:
Brandy's self-titled debut album brings back good memories of the mid 90's.The album still sounds good after all these years. "I wanna be down" was a hot track and it still is."Baby" is my all-time favorite song from Brandy, where she delivers an enthusiastic vocal performance. "Best Friend" is all about having that one true friend in your life. "Sunny Day" is a good mid-tempo song. The second half of the album is nothing but beautiful love songs. In the interlude,"I dedicate(Part 1)",she pays homage to artists who have inspired her musically, such as Whitney Houston, and she dedicates the album to her fans. The first part of "I dedicate" is fine, but she shouldn't have recorded the other two interludes, because she said everything on the first part anyway. Overall this is a classic album from Brandy and it showcases the phenomenal talent Brandy possesses. The songs are fun, emotional(Brokenhearted) and romantic(Give Me You). One of the best R&B debut albums of the 90's. She is most definitely underrated.

My Monica review:
Monica harps back to the golden age of R&B with Toni Braxton and Mary J. Blige. The Boy is Mine, First Night and Angel of Mines are definitely the standouts on this album. It is too bad that she faded into obscurity after this album pretty much. I think it had something to do with a boyfriend of hers committing suicide. I haven't heard any of her material after this album but it wouldn't surprise me if she has other albums that are decent but I thought they top this album. This album is the peak of her career imo.

Realtalk, you can suggest the next album. I want to get this up and started again.

^Took you long enough lol

The final studio album of The King of Pop

Michael Jackson- Invincible

1. Unbreakable
2. Heartbreaker
3. Invincible
4. Break of Dawn
5. Heaven Can Wait
6. You Rock My World
7. Butterflies
8. Speechless
9. 2000 Watts
10. You Are My Life
11. Privacy
12. Don't Walk Away
13. Cry
14. The Lost Children
15. Whatever Happens
16. Threatened

Despite being the weakest album in MJ's catalogue this album still remains CRIMINALLY underrated with a handful of classics. This wasn't a POP album and when you check it out you will see why I say that. It was his most R&B themed album in years at the time of its release.

I will be back with my review.

My Invincible Review!!!

I dont care what anyone says or thinks about MJ! I love him and this was such a underrated album. It wasn't his best effort compared to past previous releases but this did have a few gems that were criminally underrated.

Highlights: Unbreakable, Break of Dawn, Butterflies, Speechless, Whatever Happens, Heaven Can Wait, Threatened

1. Unbreakable- this was a great album opener, VERY strong. MJ originally wanted this to be the lead single but SONY released "You Rock My World" as the lead instead. Unbreakable is good lyrically and I think is a good motivational song. It has modern production that mimics the times but it is not overdone. I think this song aged pretty darn good. Fun fact: Brandy sings background vocals!

2. Heartbreaker- Production is to overdone and lyrics are generic
3. Invincible- similiar issue with the above
4. Break of Dawn- THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE SEXIEST SONG EVER MADE!!!! If this song was released as a single it would have been a instant R&B classic. I think this was one of the best vocal performances Michael did in his last decade. Michaels vocals are clean and soulful. The production is sexy, smooth and reminds you of that old schoo MJ R&B sound i.e Off The Wall . This was my favorite from the album

5. Heaven Can Wait- originally was meant for Blackstreet but was given to MJ. I really like this song because it is not a song I would have pictured MJ doing. It has that late 90's grown and sexy R&B feel. It is not as good as Break of Dawn but it was a nice slow R&B groove. If you like Jodeci, Blackstreet, Brandy's 90s output etc then you will like this song.

6. You Rock My World This song is not one of the stronger cuts but its a nice R&B dance song. Its catchy but I wouldn't call it one of the best on the album. The music video is dope though.

7. Butterflies- LOVE THIS SONG, CLASSIC! MJ hooked up with Floetry for this cut and they made magic! Michaels vocals are sexy as hell and soulful. He is sanging on this song. This is probably MJ's most neo soul song to date. The production is crazy good and Marsha Ambousia's vocals in the background are a treat. I wish he could have did more collaborations with her.

8. Speechless- Michaels delivers another stellar vocal performance and shows why he is one of the best pop singers of all time. I think the lyrics are kinda cheesy but he sings them so good that you forget about that. The production is soft but really good here. I like how he layered his vocals.

9. 2000 Watts- I like the fact that Michael is singing deeper here but I never cared for this song.

10. You Are My Life- Another cheesy song about the love of his children but since it is sincere I dont mind. This song is not horrible but one of the weaker ones
11. Privacy- I like this song and Michaels raspy singing but he has done similiar songs in the past that were far more better ex. Leave Me Alone, Tabloid Junkie, etc.

12. Don't Walk Away- His singing is beautiful but another weaker one that should have been cut

13. Cry- never cared for this song

14. The Lost Children I actually liked this song although its cheesy. It has a good message and I like the production.

15. Whatever Happens One of MJ's greatest songs in his catalogue. He hooked up with Carlos Santana for this one and created another magical jam! I loved the salsa inspired theme, Michaels vocals are on point and the production is crazy!!!!

16. Threatened- This was one of my favorites all this album. The production is eclectic and Michaels vocals are hard and mean (love it!) The beat is catchy and funky!!

MJ does not write as much on this album like he does on his previous releases... and it shows. Majority of his best material and hits were written and produced by himself. I think he became insecure artistically the last decade of his life which is why he collabed more on this album. Overall, the album is actually not that bad compared to what critics gave it. Most of the outtakes are better than some of the songs that made the album. The album was tooo long. If 7 of the songs were cut it would have been a much stronger album.

I'm such a slacker. I listened to this album awhile ago but didn't write up anything.

I own this album on CD and I enjoyed it so much in the past when it first came out but I'm so cynical about MJ nowadays that some of the songs just make me uncomfortable.

I also laugh now just like I did in the past whenever MJ would sing love songs and that banter that he has with Chris Tucker sounds so fake and forced. MJ wouldn't know what to do with a pussy if it was sitting on his face. Ladies throw themselves at him and he has no interest in them. He always came off as asexual to me. So when he pretends to flirt on that track and whenever he sings love songs. They sound so insincere and they don't convince me that he actually has feelings for anyone. There is a track near the end of the album about children and I just cringe so much because of my preconceived notions about what may or may not have happened in at his Ranch.

I remember when this album came out EVERYONE shit on this album. From critics to fans, this is definitely not one of his greatest albums and it's not underrated at all. It is just a half hearted output. It feels like he did this album because he needed money. I did enjoy it when it was first out though.

Michael was sexy as hell.

HIS SWAG and stage presence could make any girl drop their panties in a minute.

I am not a groupie but if Michael wanted to do it I would say yes in a heart beat!!! lol

There was an undeniable sexual energy and essence to his dancing and singing which is why the asexual comments are mind blowing.

The way he moved on stage seems to me that he got ALOT of practice lol Someone who is asexual is definitly not going to move like that

The coyness, charming and gentle nature of his personality is an attractive quality in my opinion. I found his shyness to be cute lol Just because he was not open with his sexual relations does not mean he was not interested in it.

I think our society is wayyy to judgmental in term of their expectations of the sexes. If a man is to caring and emotional he is either seen as gay or asexual. If a woman is to aggressive or controlling she is either a bitch or to masculine. Its all stereotypes that need to stop

Did you see the You Rock My World video?

Michael was on grinding on that girl...

Michael can grind, dance, and sing to me ANYDAY, don't care what he look like...

Invincible was definitly underrated

yeah yeah yeah

He was such a panty droppa but he doesn't care about women's panties no matter how many million swoon over him.

He'd probably turn them away and wouldn't know what to do with them.
