Default New World

Hip Hop is changing, It’s a fact. Songs production now are incredible, An’ music is not the same any more.. On the other hand, Somre rappers is Fakin’ it!! they depend on the music, and just write too little unreal rhymes!! Generally, I think hip hop is in danger, It depends these days on the big names like Jay-Z, Eminem etc.. But the new generation is full of defects.. Rappers like Kendrick Lamar and Drake are very good, But others are not as good as them!! Imagine The hip hop world with weak Lyricists in the lead!!!!

What do u Think? and Excuse my english

i know this thread will be crapped on but......

rap already has weak lyricists at the top of the billboards. kanye is incredibly weak but his beats are insane. thats his real skill. rap in general has morphed into rap-pop at the top but theres good lyricists out there. every rapper has strengths and weaknesses

I'm not a huge follower of new hip hop but I tend to think the situation has improved lyrically in the last few years. I remember in the mid 2000's mainstream rap was completely swamped with party anthems.

You’ll always find weak rappers in top.. But what I’m afraid of.. is the disappearance of good lyricists.. for example 2 or 3 of the mainstream rappers are weak.. in years, Maybe 90% of manistream will be awful!!

Mmmm, I disagree with you.. In mid 2000s - as you said - party anthems were in lead, but gangsta and hardcore was safe.. now the problem is gangsta and hardcore hip hop are kinda unreal!! This is the problem!!
