Default Souls of Mischief "93 til Infinity" Album Discussion Thread

Souls of Mischief - 93 til Infinity

"Let 'Em Know"
"Live and Let Live"
"That's When Ya Lost"
"A Name I Call Myself"
"Disseshowedo"
"What a Way to Go Out"
"Never No More"
"93 'til Infinity"
"Limitations"
"Anything Can Happen"
"Make Your Mind Up"
"Batting Practice"
"Tell Me Who Profits"
"Outro"

What do you feel are the standout tracks?
Do you feel like the production compliments the lyrics well? Also which of the two do you prefer related to this album?
Do you see yourself listening to this album again a few months from now?
Have you heard any of this artist's other mixtapes/albums and do you feel like this album stands up to the same quality as the others?

The title track is that standout. I've not heard anything else but I'd rate this as a strong 8/9 out of 10, it's a fantastic album.

93 til infinity feels like their attempt at a dance track honestly. The real standout track is [What a way to go out]. Great lyricism and bottom heavy bass. Let em know and Anything can happen stand out to me as well. There was a time when I bought A-plus's stuff as well and Del is the big dawg in Heiro, so he will always get more play then the rest.

I love this album and usually play every couple of months in the car. I dig their gymnastic style of flowing and the almost break neck approach to laying their lyrics down. One of the best albums to come out in 93 along with Bizarre Ride 2. One of Oaklands best, but nobodies touching TOO SHORT for the crown anytime soon. I bought No Mans Land and Focus also but they can't touch this record on the lyrical scale and they went production heavy which was a turnoff musically. I think Going to Stanford got in the way for Taj.

Dance? I dunno mate, I honestly don't get that vibe from it at all. Just sounds like mellow, 90's Hip-Hop to me? Why do you think it's their attempt at a Dance track.

You can find my review on my RYM page!

Anyway, I think this is a great album with real nice jazzy samples. I do have difficulty telling the rappers apart though and their battle rap/brag rap gets tiring for me by the end of the album. They are very clever lyricists though and on a technical level, this album is really one hell of a record, but I find myself tiring of it with repeated listens.

Love this album, Let Em Know really bumps is probs my favorite other than the title track. The whole album is full of winners though.
