Default Official Lupe Fiasco Thread

I didn't see any Lupe posts for this year, so check it, he's been tearin it up recenty. He came with SLR 2 which was his hardest response to Kendrick, if you haven't heard..

Following his responce, Drake came out with 'Pound Cake, which Lupe remixed his own called 'Pound Of Flesh/Paris Tokyo 2'

And also he has released 'Piece Of Papaer/Cup Of JAYZUZ

He's becoming more mainstream as time pass and im hoping to hear alot more in the near future.

Lupe Fiasco is heading out on nationwide tour next month to provide an early intro to his upcoming 5th studio album Tetsuo and Youth expected to release in 2014. * Lupe is a beast don't sleep on em.

can't forget this great song in which he samples Atoms for Peace

I also love his verse on this and I wish he would go off and make a sequel type song to this track called poor niggas making rich decisions.

Sounds right up his alley.

He has a new album coming out soon. I think it was supposed to come out in Dec. but I think it is pushed back to 2014 some time.

Tetsuo and Youth.

This is the first single off of it. He claims that he wants to make a more ratchet album. People are tried of him preaching and he's finally realizing that people are sick of hearing about him preaching to them as well.

I also hate how he never finishes different concepts that he works on. I get it that you are creative and sometimes it isn't in you to finish something but he has done it twice with two things that I wanted to see wrapped up.

He didn't finish The Cool Trilogy and he didn't release the second part to Great American Rap Album

Lupe Fiasco reportedly cut a recent Salt Lake City, Utah concert early after objects were thrown at him.

"Safety first," Fiasco said in a Twitter update following the event on November 24, according to xxlmag.com who reports that the object thrown was a tomato. "Bitch threw some ****. I asked the balcony to come down to the floor. They said fuck me. So, show's over."

Do you guys think he was being whiny over the hecklers?

Yes, listen to the track The Cool off of his first album then listen to his entire second album to get wrapped up in an interesting story.

He does tend to come off a bit preachy at times but the songs are pretty good regardless of that fact.

I just can't co-sign this. I'm not getting behind this type of crap that Lupe is going to be putting out on his new album.
