Or, sampled, or just IDM that sounds more electronic.
A lot of R&B / Hip Hop 'is' electronic now, but I mean where the other stuff takes over. I love that mix. Raised on Hip Hop, now into (well everything, but) electronica...

Give ya two examples I think benefited from a 'treatment':



Is it just me? There's a hint of hip hop in there.

But, you all know more about this than I do...
