just as a reminder... you don't need to focus on the video/song i provide

i provide said video/song in case the person replying is not familiar with the artist in question

also... since i said all that about mean what you say... failure is always an option. in my previous two threads i failed to come up with genuine responses for a few artists. but i would encourage you all not be too quick to give up. the spirit of the thread is to test your ability to find some appreciation for an artist even if you wouldn't be inclined to, or find a way to criticize an artist you might appreciate. but it should be genuine or else there is no challenge.

@ carpe

i've honestly not seen you comment on music much.. but i know you're a metal fan and a white chick that lives in the midwest... therefore diss eminem.

@ frown

i know you dislike 2pac. give the man some props.

I've always thought of it as the worst song on that album honestly.

Is there anything in particular that ruins it for ya? If you like that version of Eminem I think it's on point.

Just the fact that it's really boring. It's always sounded to me like he decided he wanted one more track for the album, spent half an hour working on it and was like, "Alright, whatever, that's good enough. Let's call that one done."

I have to revise my previous comment though because I forgot about "Just Don't Give a Fuck". That is the worst song on the album.

can i assume that by posting in this thread you would like an artist to diss/give props to or did you only come here to attack the soundtrack of my preteen years?

I'm not attacking the album, I like that album a lot. I just think that particular song is pretty week.

But sure, I'll try to do whatever this thread is supposed to be about.

That's right. It's also weak.

Wikipedia says this band is from Brooklyn so I'm confused by the Chicago references in this video. But anyway, it's not a bad track, my only real criticism is that it doesn't really distinguish itself from other hip hop from that era very well.
