It's insane how little I ever heard of either of these two until about 5 years ago, Charizma because he was murdered and never got to achieve his full potential, and PBW has quietly been a top DJ for years, and who owns Stones Throw, the label that released Madvillainy and tons of others by Madlib under various names. Bought this album a while back because a few tracks had come up when I was listening to random old-school hip-hop on Spotify, and it's just an absolute classic that's easy to go back to again and again and I highly recommend it if you haven't checked it out.
