Yeeesss, Machine, yes. Love both those albums so much.

This is a classic album in this style IMO. A standard setter, which only greats like MF DOOM really ever improved on. |
Some nice IDMish rap from Russia.

Been trying to get a feel for quality music of more recent years regardless of underground/commercial status since that line is so blurred now and I keep finding albums that I like
I really like Vince Staples and his most recent album is really good. This song is the hit I guess: And I like this Casey Veggies album, at least a handful of the songs: Also this one is kind of weird for me and I think I might've never heard of this if it wasn't a Best New Album on Pitchfork :o: but I've listened to this a lot lately. Pretty much as commercial as rap gets and it often sounds pretty stupid on the surface but I still like it, most of the songs' production grabs me somehow. Kevin Gates carries the album with his personality/vocal delivery and his occasionally clever and emotionally intelligent lyrics: |
Keep coming back to this because everything BSBD touches turns to gold
Nacho Picasso - Stoned & Dethroned |

Krizz Kaliko - Scars

New astronautalis EP is DOOOOOOOOOOOPPPPEEEE |
I thought that was Despot at first because of blonde cracker homogeneity, but that is dope indeed.
|
Is Despot still putting out music? I have soo much trouble finding stuff by him and I've really enjoyed everything I've heard.

Elucid - Osage on bandcamp |
I tried giving the new 2Chainz & Lil Wayne project a listen today and I'm still unsure if it's funny or just sad. I keep asking myself how far Lil Wayne is going to go before realizing that he's played out, but it's clear he's nowhere near done yet, unfortunately.
