Off the hook. I think the monkey would appreciate this.

East Atlanta Love Letter
Album by 6lack

This might be my favorite trap album of the year which would pretty much by default make it my favorite hip hop record of the year.

I didn't know 6lack put something new out.

Timeless album.

^Always loved the Beastie Boys, but didn't have that album until fairly recently. Great stuff, and I've just been addicted to this massive song since getting it:

Looking Down The Barrel of a Gun is excellent - but the whole damn album is excellent. There isn't one weak spot. And for the record, the album would not be the same if 5 Piece Chicken Dinner didn't serve as the transition from Hey Ladies to this song.

I would say that it's not only the Beastie Boys' crowning achievement but also the Dust Brothers. I believe Miles Davis was quoted as saying he never tired of listening to Paul's Boutique.

I have to go back on this one. It’s great as a part of the Atlanta Futurism Movement but not especially strong as a stand alone record.
