i heard aesop got a record out this month as malibu ken with a producer called tobacco, i m glad hes also doing something with blockhead. actually i wouldnt mind if blockhead produced everything aesop did, although i have to say that the impossible kid's production was pretty impressive.

can you try to explain why?
its not that i think is bad, but i could live with just the following tracks: "1539 N. Calvert", Panic Emoji, 14. "Macaulay Culkin"
15."Williamsburg"
thats like <15' of music.
and the rest of it, i dont know sometimes its like hearing a computers headache. i think theres no point in all this cut and paste. i heard it another time today, havent changed my mind.....

Tbh I've been underwhelmed by Malibu Ken so far. Tobacco usually knocks but what I've heard feels watered down. That said Aesop has been delivering p hard recently

Agree on the new Tobaesop material being watered down but it might sound better in the context of the album.

I'm crazy about Float and Labor Days all that, but Blockhead's newer stuff is super meh.
