Great ska band from Boston. Anybody like them? Heard of them? This is my first thread so I hope its not a fail...

Never heard of them. Are they old school or yet another average Ska punk band?

They are a fairly new band (2001) but students of the old school. Not ska-punk in the slightest. I'll post a youtube video as soon as I surpass the 15 post requirement...

Now this sounds promising

This track was the first one I found on youtube. More reggae than Ska but not bad at all. Vocals are not all that though.

This sounds like an early recording of them. You could make an argument that they're more reggae than ska, but it depends on the song. Try the live version of please forgive me; the song is one of my favorites, but they don't have the recorded version on youtube unfortunately. I actually really like his voice, but it might take some getting used to.

They sound good, we were going to see them at warped tour, but they were playing really late and we were all tired and dehydrated from skanking to Less than Jake, Big D, and streetlight in the florida sun.

ah, I wish I could have gone. I almost went to the one in Orlando, but I had work the next day. I love Big D and Streetlight, but Less Than Jake not so much, even if they do come from Gainesville. Just a li'l too much on the pop-punk side of things for me.

Please Forgive Me is a great song. I'm hearing more old fashioned soul music influences than West Indian sounds. Otis Redding could have done great covers of both of the songs. The band really has the Stax horns arrangements down well.
