Anyway, Robert Fripp and Tony Iommi were the first true metal soloists IMO.

Iommi
- Iron Man
- War Pigs
- Paranoid
- The Wizard
- NIB
- Children Of The Grave
- Planet Caravan
- Rat Salad
- Faries Wear Boots
- Electric Funeral
- Hand Of Doom

Fripp
- 21st Century Skizoid Man
- Cat Food
- Cirkus
- Indoor Games
- Lizard
- Larks Tongues In Aspic Part II
- The Night Watch
- The Great Deceiver
- Lament
- We'll Let You Know
- Fallen Angel
- One More Red Nightmare
- Providence
- Starless
- Walking On Air
- Dinosaur
- People
