Trent. Reznor.

How so?, Zeppelin are in my top 5 as far as my favorite bands go, but i think im being fair, Little Richard deserves to be higher, plain and simple, how he was so electric and charasmatic on stage was a major innovation in Rock N Roll history.

I`d actually rather listen to Led Zeppelin than Little Richard. However this thread is about the best frontmen , not the best band. I`m not narrow minded enough to think that just because a band is my favourite that they are the best at everything.
I happen to think Primal Scream are a rather good band , however only an idiot would think that Bobby Gillespie is a better frontman than someone like James Brown.

Good good.

I do find it kind of amusing you have Mick Jagger at 4 & James Brown at 5 , when Jagger himself admits to blatently copying him.

As much as i love zeppelin its true that some of their fans can be irrational jerks, i post on digitaldreamdoor, they have this list of the greatest rock artists of the 70s, stevie wonder was number 1 and zeppelin are 2...I remember these pricks saying crap like "Why in the **** are zeppelin not number 1?" and as i recall one of them even made some racist comments about wonder, got his ass banned in no time flat.

No mention of Lennon, which is shocking on these boards. I'd also like to bring up Perry Ferral and to second Urban, James Brown owns. Little richard was good but Sam Cooke was a better race breaker. I think. No one of course should be discredited.

I wouldn't mind seeing Rik Emmett up there and also Michael Stipe and please John Garcia.

I think Phil Anselmo deserves a mention in this thread.
