^^ I think that people shouldnt be looking at Manson as a role model..ever..cutting or not.

I think..thinking that celebrities set examples is a silly mentality to begin with.

He can certainly get his message across in different ways. I was very impressionable as a teen, and clearly it sends the message 'cutting yourself is cool' when nothing could b further from the truth.

Some people are aroused by pain. Its not that uncommon, or wrong even. As long as they keep it (medically) safe for others involved.

Yes, I think some people are addicted to pain, because it goes back to their painful childhood, and they become addicted to being hurt. I don't condone hurting yourself. I can say that we all have challenges, and I can place myself in the shoes of a person who had a very tough childhood, and say that I wouldn't want to be in that position, and I couldn't imagine how hard it must be. However, I think people can find a better hobby than that. There are so many things to be interested in. However, if a person is battling depression, then everything seems dull, and I would say just be careful. If cutting yourself helps you get by, then do it. Just don't go too far. no matter how much life seems like it sucks sometimes, there are people who really care and don't want to see you get hurt.

While we're on the topic of Yoda, yoga is a great form of workout that can leave you feeling replenished and revitalized in less than an hour!
