I've only really listened to Whatever People Say I Am Thats What I'm Not.
I think its a good album but not good enough to make me want more of the band.
Generic but, after having the album since not long after its released, I've been surprised how into it I can get every once in a while. Pretty solid.

Their new single is truly the best song they have released in years. Return to form!

I wouldn't describe them as generic, even if you hate them they do have personality and do stand out amongst many of the other NME type indie bands...

R U Mine is definitely a great single. The b-sides that they've released since SIAS, plus this new song, are pretty great. Evil Twin is another wonderful rocker.

If I hear another Arctic Monkeys album before I hear a second Last Shadow Puppets album I'm going to be severely disappointed.

A new album from either is fine in my books! Considering his connection with The Arctic Monkeys does anyone like Miles Kane here?

I liked that Last Shadow Puppets album, but The Rascals have never grown on me. Not sure if he has any other projects.

He released a solo album last year of you're interested.

Ahh, I thought that was The Rascals. From what I have heard I don't care for it.

Their debut album was fantastic, Favourite worst Nightmare was almost as good. From there their stuff didn't quite have the same effect on me. I only really listen to any of the later songs for Alex Turner's lyrics & voice, which I think are possibly the best in the industry at the moment.
From Ritz To Rumble & 505 are some of my favourite songs from this century.

I don't get the big fuss about the Arctic Monkeys, I never warmed to them.
