i think they've got greater and greater
humbug is a masterpiece as is Suck it and See
Their debut is one of the greatest albums ever
to say they got ****tier is really strange.

You should get everything they've done. They change their sound from each album. I advise you start of with the Suck it and See era as you love Piledriver Waltz then start with their debut and second album (WPSIATWIN and Favourite worst Nightmare) then leave Humbug to the end cause it takes a few listens to get used too but its really a great album. Check out their b-sides too wonderful stuff. Also Alex Turner (main songwriter and singer) check out The Last shadow Puppets album and his Submarine soundtrack.

That is a truly beautiful song as well, one of their best in my opinion, especially the reverbed out one.

Wow, thanks so much. You were really helpful. I will definitely do that.

Whatever People Say I am, That's What I am Not is the only album I like. It took about 10 listens to appreciate anything by them. Otherwise meh.

I disagree. I personally think they've gotten better, more mature of a sound. Let's face it, if they made another album that sounds like their first album, it would sound pretty awful. Their psychedelic sound sits well with me.

They're a great band, the albums 'Whatever People Say I am, That's What I'm Not' was brilliant best album by far, and all their singles and other albums are just as great. They've grown up musically and become what they wanted to.

Overall a fantastic band

They are my favorite band of all time, that first album is just a classic British rock album that speaks to a generation, cracking debut, and they have just gone from strength to strength, especially Turner as a lyricist and poet.
