Maiden... I'm wearing my killers hoodie right now.... +maiden had alot more influence on today's heavy music than metallica... lots more similarities in the guitar work and rhythms between maiden and today's heavy music as opposed to metallic who just kind of alienated themselves from the rest of metal.

to the person who sed Metallica are overrated (i forget who) if so many people liked them enough to buy millions of their albums and tickets to see them live how can they be overrated, millions of fans or you, i know who i will side with. and yes the rolling stones do suck, but i never hear a good thing about them so they aint overrated, theyre just crap and annoying

In my opinion Metallica are the better of the two greats.
Although im not so fond of the newer stuff on the 'St. Anger' album, they are still the biggest influences to me.
Im not discrediting Maiden at all but there we go.

They are both good but I prefere Metallica. Simply because the drummer is wicked and they play soo well!

PS Is that a god of rock sign^^? I think it's cool...*nods approvingly*
