I don't understand how saying a band sucks makes someone ignorant. I understand people being sensitive about a band they really like, but in order to respect music and opinions, you'd have to do the same with people who don't like your music. Correct? I dont think musicbanter threads are created such that only fans are allowed to respond. Like Urban said, we're here to put our opinions. And like you said, we have to respect it.

BTW, merely saying a band sucks is just as unspecific and uninspired as merely saying you like them. Correct?

I dont like it very much. I think its very bland. id give it a 2/5, maybe it will grow on me, but I just cant get into it right away.
