from what I've heard though, Vedder's voice has kinda gone to ****.

right now they're touring south america, but they should be coming through here sometime soon.

a much better question is why were they around in the first place?

if it hadn't been for pearl jam and nirvana bringing alternative styles into the mainstream do you really think you would be listening to rise against today?

Because they were a damn good band.


I mean c'mon, listen to Ten, or VS for that matter.

They're horrible.
and didn't they do some show recently?!

Oh come on, if you liked Nevermind, then you should like Ten, have you heard it?... Even if you did, maybe you should give it another listen, after a while it will grow on you, trust me. ;)

By horrible i mean i just dont like it.
They're good for a grunge band.
But i cant stand eddie vedders vocals.

Well, i just let the vocals grow on me, they do eventualy...The music itself is just too good.


Anyway dont talk to me about vocals, you are talking to a Rush fan here. :D
