So, turns out Chemtrails wasn't really indicative of some radically new direction he would take on this album.

Beck is Awesome. I caught his Odelay concert and it was one of the greatest shows I've ever seen!
There was a great moment when it was just him singing and playing guitar and he got hit in the head with a shoe from the crowd. He didn't miss and beat and then worked into the lyrics what an a-hole the guy was who threw the shoe - that's smooth!

So Ive been getting into Beck lately, I had Odelay and Guero for awhile and thought they were really good. Then I got Modern Guilt a couple weeks ago and I fell in love with it. Ive been re listening to Odelay and Guero and now see that they are amazing albums and so is Mutations even though its alot more mellow and acoustic than anything ive heard him done.

Beck is great. His cameo in Futurama was actually what turned me on to his music, lol.

Only have Odelay and Guero, but both of them rock.

I'm surprised at the Midnite Vultures hate here...it's like Beck doing Prince! I love it!
