Well...Fozzy are better than KoRn in every way imaginable, and I don't even like Fozzy.

NaNaNer 12-26-2006 11:57 AM

Why you gotta hate on Korn? I need a intelligent answer..

The Unfan 12-26-2006 12:05 PM

I'm not sure if its possible to intelligently state "Everything about them sucks." The whiney vocals, the horrible riffing, the lackluster drumming, the really poor song writing, and everything. They're probably the only band in the world I can't stand listening to.

I'd rather listen to Pussycat Dolls while removing my genitals with sand paper than listen to KoRn.

sleepy jack 12-26-2006 03:44 PM

The Unfan pwnz.

MURDER JUNKIE 12-27-2006 03:53 AM

I actually like and will listen to the first album, everything after that I will not stand in a one hundred foot radius of. I actually feel bad for them, they paved the way for so many sh!tty bands that they are merely a footnote in the genre they helped create

NaNaNer 12-27-2006 07:13 AM

^^ Exactly.

You liked that...?

As a KoRn fan, I would agree with alot of people that their older music is way better. It was harder, more raw, had meaningful lyrics, and lyrics that when you hear them, you wanna kill somebody. I think its invigorating. I don't like how KoRn has gotten on to MTV and people that love rap and see Twisted Transistor "claim to love KoRn". Its the biggest load ever. I just hope KoRn doesnt sell out to MTV and that they really focus on their biggest fans. Also, I think they have a fresh start since Head is gone...I hope the music gets better and tops their first cd.

sorry i meant that i hope they dont sell out more, cuz we all saw what happened with Twisted Transistor and Coming Undone. Not their finest and made me want to take a gun to my mouth.

Korn are like laxatives, only needed in small doses, and cause mass amounts of diahreah.

They did a performance on Saturday Night Live this week from their unplugged songs and it was actually pretty good. They had great instrumentation, along with standard like guitar, bass, drums, they were accompanied by out-of-place things like a harp, a strings section, and a group in the background pounding along on huge African drums. For the content being par, the showmanship was really good.

ShoLeigh84 03-09-2007 03:36 PM

I've heard Freak on a Leash unplugged with Amy Lee and I thought that was really great! I've always said Jonathen Davies should duet with a good female singer, he's got the right kinda voice for it. Thanks for the link, will defo check that out!:)

That "good" female singer would need to be someone other than Amy Lee because she sucks live.

Best post ever.

Loser 03-09-2007 06:54 PM

I try :D

acratertocoffin 03-09-2007 07:26 PM

My Jamaican roommate loves Amy Lee. It's painful sometimes.

Predator 03-09-2007 09:17 PM

I personally prefer to stay away from posting about bands that I don't like. That said, I am making an exception.

I liked Korn for about a week, long enough to waste 15 bucks. I can't understand what the hype is about. I still hear them every once in a while, and at the times that I choose not to change the station, I remember why I don't like Korn. This unplugged crap only proved to me that it was not the amps that made Korn suck.

ShoLeigh84 03-11-2007 04:10 PM

She's bad live? I think this video was live and she sounded ok. I prefer the porper version anyway. I hate it when you see someone you like live and they suck.

tdoc210 03-11-2007 04:31 PM

korn = krap

This adds nothing Mikey.

On some real sh*t, Korn Unplugged was surprisingly not all that bad. The collabo with Amy Lee was pretty tight. Hopefully MTV starts doing more Unplugged's again.

Kurt_Cobain 03-12-2007 01:28 PM

I used to love the unplugged sets, Claptons was the best everrrrrrrrr. And I wanna hear KoRns set now, just to hear how well they pulled it off.

[MERIT] 03-12-2007 03:48 PM

I've heard some amazing Sevendust acoustic stuff, hopefully they do an Unplugged set *crosses fingers*

skindredluver 03-12-2007 03:53 PM

I ahet them unplugged and in general

Zombie_Fetish 03-14-2007 11:03 AM

im not a fan of korn but them unplugged is even worse adding amy lee into the mix just made it even worse i absolutely loathe her she cant sing

ScottFire54 03-14-2007 10:11 PM

I'm not a fan of Korn but I do respect their songwriting. And I did like the Freak On A Leash with Amy Lee.

I would also like to not I saw Evanescence live and Amy didn't suck on that night.

Sevendust was never on MTV, so I would seriously doubt it.

I saw them twice, once like three years ago with Switchfoot and on their Open Door tour this last October and each time she had pitch problems, her breath support sucked and she was whiney. She really needed the recording studio to fix the problems for her.
