Why the frown? Because it sounds like a rip-off, or because you don't like T. Rex? I don't mind the similarity really, perhaps an homage.

I love T-Rex, I wished I noticed more T-Rex influence if anything. But there's a fine line between influence and ripping off. I think Brothers is their strongest record to date though, really pleased with it. I was thinking it might disappoint before it came out but I'm really glad it hasn't.

I have, that was the only Black Keys album I was missing. Although I must confess I've listened to it once or twice.. So I don't have a strong opinion on it but it sounded pretty good.
