i always get the bastards muddled up with the black velvets. who are incidentally the biggest jet rip-offs known to the common man.

You don't think Jet rips both of those bands? The begining of "Are you gunna be my girl" is a direct rip from the doors.

And please, AC/DC is just all over their face.

I really dig The Black Keys there music always seems to cheer me up whenever I'm in a bad mood. Just good blues rock can't really complain.
