Avenged Sevenfold. They were good at Waking the fallen, but they stopped being metal after that with city of evil trying instead to have a more commercially acceptable sound which ultimately had no heart in it, and the vocals are so ripped off from Alice in Chains with a taste of Dave Mustaine thrown in to sound more "Hard." The sad part is Waking the Fallen is actually really good too, just the band is junk after that.

Aerosmith,
I challenged myself to listen to a few of their songs on my ipod without calling them a bunch of ***gots aloud. It was awfully hard, but I managed. It repeated in my head. If their guitar was replaced with piano, they would go from 7/8 full of **** to absolutely full of ****. |

To listen to classic Aerosmith you need to listen to their 70`s output, as this group really knew how to rock out in the 70`s (Albums like Rocks and Toys in the Attic) Most of the mid 80`s output onwards, is almost as bad as listening to DEF Leppard and Bon Jovi etc.

After finishing reading a article interviewing some kid named Greyson Chance I had to listen to Death to regain hope in music.
Note: this was my 1rst time visiting PopEater and my last. Note2: Greyson Chance is Sh*t. |

I have completey unresolved mixed feelings on slipknot - while I kinda acknowledge that they're not 'tr00 metal' by any stretch of the imagination, and a lot of their music appeals to complete idiots, I can't quite bring myself to say that they're terrible because IMO they're just simply not. They're good musicians and awesome to see live...
... the kinda conclusion I've come to is that they're a joke, but a good one. Still doesn't help when the fanboys come-a-knockin'... |
