I never really thought of it that way.

Oh, he has many voices. I like some of them better than others but I do think he's a pretty underrated singer :-)

Tha amazing thing about the big grunge bands of the time, is that they all had fantastic vocalists and Scott Weiland was one.

He`s often underrated but I`ve often seen him regarded in the music press etc, as one of the best vocalists of his generation, something I agree with.

I love the way he sounds with Velvet Revolver, at times quite different to Stone Temple Pilots.

As for Blink 182... maahhh, they're okay, they're neither influential or outstanding, nor are they particularly poor or over-rated.

Josh
The Beatles being **** was just said in jest. I think one of the moderators put it up there to spark conversation, because the whole thread used to get taken up, with people going on about how **** bands like Nickelback , Creed and Bush were etc.

Yeah, in my opinion, the band isn't overrated, but the drummer definitely is. I don't like their type of music and I hate how people call them punk. Since when was punk represented by having a television show about your life?

You're probably right but this is why I used to hate Weezer.

I think "pop punk" is the perfect way to describe their sound, more so early on...
