In my opinion it's not small minded to dislike a genre. Ss some members on here can testify I've tried quite hard to get into progressive rock, it's just not my cup of tea. Same with Hip-Hop and Rap, it's just not my thing. It's small minded to listen to rap/hip-hop that's on the radio and decide you dislike it, as long as you give something a chance before you write it off then I don't think you're small minded.

i'll fess up to owning both Pornograffiti and 3 Sides to Every Story at one point in the past. they were too clean, too proficient, and far too formulaic, to ever be truly funky. their use of the term Funk revolved directly around the fact that they (or their management) didn't have the guts to use the term Fuck. Extreme was a funky as the Jonas Brothers are metal. |
