My friend loves Electric Wizard. Tried to get me into them but it didn't take.

My favourite doom metal band is the Backstreet Boys.

not to sound like a dumb ass but what are some doom metal bands i would know? never heard of any of these bands b4 that u all have recently named

Can't say you would know any if you haven't heard of the ones already mentioned.

Do check out Sleep, Candlemass, My Dying Bride, Cathedral and Electric Wizard for some good doom metal. None of this backstreet boys crap Shootingstar would have you listen to:rolleyes:

Doom for society more like!

Yeah I really like doom. Electric Wizard being my favorite. Crowbar is pretty sweet there pretty heavy. The drone doom is pretty sweet Sunn O))) and Earth are simply amazing. Another band I like is Thergothon there just plain dark. Doom is definatley one of my favorite genre's.

Does it make you happy listening to doom?
