New Junk Aesthetic probably, with Gutter Phenomenon being second.

Oh, alright then.

I find it difficult to differentiate between some of the harder hardcore punk, metalcore, and melodic hardcore.

ETID started off as more of a metalcore band, but since Gutter Phenomenon they've been moving more toward the punk side of things.

Has anyone had a chance to listen to "The Hymn of a Broken Man" by Times of Grace? It's a side project featuring Jesse Leach and Adam D from Killswitch. Not nearly as aggressive as what we've come to expect from these metalcore veterans but nontheless, I found it to be a solid record with some really cool post-rock elements

Decent. Not a fan of the cheesy lyrics. Glad to see Jesse at work again though.

it doesn't appear to be at all fitting that your name on here is metal connoisseur. a true metal connoisseur would find bands like aild, and kse, pretty weak, wattered down, and well, not metal.. also the first time i heard times of grace i thought the radio was playing. that album sounds like generic radio rock. lame. lame. lame.
srsly, if your name is metal connoisseur, then who are your favorite 5 or 10 metal bands??

To be honest I do as well, I was referring to the superior 'only real metal is worth knowing about' attitude, which I just HATE.
