A great and varied list there. Maiden, DFD and Maudlin are great bands. Agalloch too.

To be fair, I've only heard Adultery by Dog Fashion Disco, but it's one of my favourite albums.

Solid list. Especially the last three.

Have you listened to Buried At Sea's latest EP Ghosts? It's nuts.

Read through the rest of the lists in the thread. You'll find alot worse than that.

In no particular order

-Pantera(so metal)
-Black Sabbath(first metal band ever which is super metal)
-Down(their first album "NOLA" is so metal)
-Metallica(used to be the metalist band ever)
-Megadeth(unlike their rivals Metallica they stayed metal)
-Rage Against The Machine(not really that metal)
-White Zombie(kinda not that metal but whatever)
-Slayer(looks weird when the writing isn't all metal)
-Dethklok(this band is hilarious)
-Corrosion of Conformity(more stoner rock but nevertheless a great band)

and yes I am aware that I use the the word metal more than anyone ever should
