Party of Helicopters isn't remotely metal. and that isn't me being a genre jerk either. they just art. if anything it's 'art punk'

I know that (didn't think anyone would call me out on it ), but I couldn't think of a 10th band and they're as close to metal as a lot of the bands that've been mentioned so far. I thought of putting Sunn 0))) in their place, but I don't like them that much.

Umm I don't listen to much metal but here are the ones I listen to in no apparent order.

Black Sabbath
Slipknot
Murderdolls (though I think of them more as Horror punk)
and if RATM counts then them.

you have to see them live to fully comprehend their genius.

and Slipknot is simply not good. c'mon moses

They're a guilty pleasure. Everyone has one, I have them. Would you rather listen to them or Fall Out Boy.

Drudkh is similar in some respects to Burzum.
