Angela is my favorite metal chick. Saw them live last year and she absolutely ripped the stage up with her vocals and blew away the crowd. It was a festival so i'm sure people were in the crowd that disliked them. Even if I hadnt liked them going in, I sure as hell would have loved them going out. I even interviewed Angela via email for an essay on chicks of metal last year.

Too bad that song's awful, thanks for posting it though.

I've recently gotten more into their older albums (especially Burning Bridges) and I have to say I can't stand the Angela Glasow era.

And to answer The Unfan's post, early At The Gates was brutal as all hell. If you're judging their career based off of Slaughter Of The Soul (as much as I love that album), I can see where you're coming from; however, songs like City of Screaming Statues and Kingdom Gone (KINGDOM! KINGDOM ****ING GONE!) are some of the most misanthropic, hateful songs in all of metal.

They're great. Mike Amott really slings the axe like no other.

Broken Bridges is probably their best, but Doomsday is fooking pretty good.

Just been giving these a listen. Pretty awful TBH. All credit to women in rock, but her voice is still shíte.

Listen to their older stuff, more specifically Black Earth. Totally different sound.

I will track down some stuff and report back. Some nice riffs going on though.

The Amott brothers are great guitarists.
