Well I wasn't saying you were wrong, to me its not really grunge And i think what the artist intended for it to be plays a large role in deciding.

There's nothing jazzy about STP, at all. Very competent grunge band, "Purple" being a surpisingly good listen.

Again, i dont believe they should e called straight up grunge.

New album for STP dropped on the 21st, and I was wondering what do you think of the album/band?

The new song pisses me off, more recycled 90's garbage. It's like half Bush and half Local H. This band is treading water at best right now.

Indeed. I believe that they want to go back to roots, and yet they still make it sound wasted.

I cant wait to hear their new album, STP is my fav band from the 90s Grunge era.

$20 says it's just a reshash of 'Tiny Music'

I have no anticipation for this whatsoever, but I wouldn't mind hearing it eventually. I actually enjoyed Tiny Music for the most part. Never heard 4.

^ yeah i liked 'Tiny Music' back in the day as well, as such i might end up youtubing their new material one of these days but i'm not anticipating much. if you're heard 'Core' you've heard 4. whatever you do don't get 'shangri-la-di-da'.
