Whether it was to gain an audience or not, that doesn't really take a lot of thinking. On the other hand, KISS must've spent hours in their mothers' basements or wherever planning these costumes of theirs, testing face paint, etc. Sure, they were meant to achieve the same ends, but saying Kurt's was as carefully crafted as KISS's is like saying The Ramones spent as much time writing a song as Yes did. |
