i love dope, take your best shot and now or never are my favorite songs. Y mentioned them in the "suggest a new band" thread in the indie or alternative thread. that was a really long time ago though.

What about Black Sabbath no body really revolutionized the music industry like they did.I think Led Zepplin is probably the band ever but nobody created a complete genre like sabbath did. Even though all new metal bands suck if it werent for Sabbath there would be no metallica, megadeth, slayer, judas priest, or iron maiden.

Led Zepplin, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Nirvana, Metallica, Soundgarden, AC DC, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guns N' Roses, Rage Against the Machine, Sonic Youth, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, The Doors, and The Jimi Hendrix Experience. I dont think u can beat those bands!

Just to clear everything up it is Rage against the machine. not machines, but yes they are one of the greatest id say also: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix, and Ramones.

yeah, NIRVANA...or Red Hot Chili Peppers...they're great..and of course there are a lot of other great bands...but a lot of bands that suck big time as well
