Does anybody like Dio? I have casually listened to Ronnie James Dio for years and I think his band is good. I'm not particually sure how well known he is.

never heard of him/this band.. do you have any links or anything listenable?

I've got all his work with Black Sabbath , Rainbow and his solo stuff and rate him 7/10 at the very least.:)

dio is good..i prefer his solo stuff compared to the things he did with sabbath

I've never heard his solo stuff but I've got some of his work with Rainbow and Black Sabbath, and he's a good singer in my opinion.

his solo stuff is great, especially the 80's era stuff, check out the Holy Diver & Last in Line albums!!

I like some of his stuff. I'm no expert, though. I always liked Rainbow in the Dark.

If i want to listen to cheesy hard rock with lyrics about dungeons and dragons, i'll listen to Rush.

If i want to listen to some 3 foot tall itailian guy scream at the top of his lungs like an old jewish lady, i'll listen to....... Well i dunno, but i wont be listening to Dio. ;)
