Show me a picture of some emo bands, all following this "emo fashion"

Only the pop bands.

Dammit you got my early edit, i decided to use a Peter Gabriel pic instead, that Wakeman pic appears on here enough already.

Prog is pretty popular, dispite it's complete lack of mainstream success, save bands like The Mars Volta and Tool... Progarchives is a big site which features bios of different bands and feateres a song streamer like Myspace so you can play free MP3s without downloading them, nearly every band featured has a MP3 available.

It's the first link in my sig, the second one is to a site called Gibraltar, which i like to refer to as the proglopedia. :)

"Goodbye We're Falling Fast"

Your pretty face disguised
in a veil of fear
drip with tears
as I gave you one last
kiss before the fall (before the fall)
Hold my hand you're so beautiful
let's escape from this life and end it all
on three we're jumping from this ledge
this buildings tall
I'm sure we'll wake up dead
but I still love her

Say goodbye say goodbye
yeah we're falling fast
I'll live forever
Say goodbye say goodbye

A picture perfect attempt at
a quick and painless death
came and meant
something so much more
than all the rest (than all the rest)
Hold my hand and don't forget to breathe
there's nothing left for you
there's nothing left to leave
on three we're jumping from this ledge
this buildings tall
I'm sure we'll wake up dead
but I still love her

Say goodbye say goodbye
yeah we're falling fast
I'll live forever
Say goodbye say goodbye
yeah and make it last

With these moments we hold dear
(inside my heart)
and the seconds we have left
(inside my heart)
I know you're here inside my heart [2x]

Hold your hand with mine
in this picture perfect light
there's one last chance for us
tonight
I hold your hand with mine
so everything is fine
so say good by now say goodbye
tonight

Say goodbye say goodbye
yeah we're falling fast
I'll live forever
Say goodbye say goodbye
yeah we'll make it last
I'll live forever
Say goodbye say goodbye
yeah we're falling fast
I'll live forever
Say goodbye say goodbye

yeah thats not emo

motley_crue131 06-17-2006 10:27 PM

aiden is an emocore band

swim 06-17-2006 10:28 PM

I wasn't talking about that sense of the word scene. I was talking about what happens to be "the" scene at that time. Eh, you know what the media happens to be pushing.

Lyrics don't determine genres.
Aiden is just plain generic rock.

I've come to decide that compared to Peter Gabriel, what Wakeman wears aint so bizzare, you just can't top dressing up as a hemroid.

That is debatable. Especially when you're talking about stuff like emo, pop, and in this case rock. (Kinda wierd using rock, pop, and emo all in the same sentence like that.)
It's either rock or it isn't.

Peace
