Chiodos

I don't care what anyone says. Chiodos, with Craig Owens, is the best band in the world. I know he has a high pitched voice, but that's what made the band unique. He had the most amazing voice in the world. Chiodos is so different without him now. I see them having a great potential with that Brandon Bolmer guy, but it will be way different without Craig.

My problem isn't really with this band, it's with fans of this band. It's probably an isolated incident, but I've met two or three idiots who think this band is amazing and trash on hardcore and punk.

I'm not familiar with Chiodos's music, but I like Craig Owens in The Sound of Animals Fighting (even though his live vocals with them were terrible imo).
I'm guessing their sound is somewhere in the ballpark of Circa Survive?

^Circa Survive with nauseating breakdowns and screams thrown in here and there. That being said, I enjoyed their debut album. Craig Owens had some really pretty vocals.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure there's already a thread on them.

sick as hell song

Yes, that it is.

pretty much the reason i got the album.

and i was glad i did.

Chiodos will not be nearly as successful as they were with Craig Owens. Craig brought so much to the table in his performances, he pours his heart out on stage and I've seen Brandon Bolmer on stage and its just not the same. Craig made The Chiodos Bros. who they are today. Just my opinion.
