Anyway, this album should be awesome. It is The Mars Volta, after all.

I might actually buy this the day it comes out. I resently picked up their older cds. Eh, when's it come out?

I've told myself that if it leaks im not listening to it...Im gunna wait till the release..and listen to as many times as 24 hours will let me

I may have asked this in an older thread but any word on what direction this album will take? Lighter/heavier than their other works?

There hasnt been a lot of talk about the new album soo far...i could see it going similar to Frances the mute in the aspect of an awsome concept..the usual progressive.ambience...but you can expect to see a large change i think..they're really progressing as a band

I've heard that this album is going to be the best you'll buy this year.

I promised myself that i was gunna listen to it if it leaked....a single is supposed to be realeased tomorrow...and im stoked for that

The single is the only thing that RAR has. It leaked two days ago and the Comatorium shut down for a little bit because of it.

It's alright. Sounds like Cedric and Omar are the only people in the band though. And Les, I congratulate you for staying true. I'm easily buying it, but i'm a puss when it comes to not listening to leaks.

Nah. It's still about two months off, but TMV is a big band and a leak would not be unheard of. I still say at least mid-July before we get a leak.

Also, supposedly the whole album is going to be very religious, with almost (if not all) songs' titles having a religious meaning to them.

Yeah a lot of the Songs will deal with religion
1. A Vicarious Atonement - The word Atonnment means Reconciliation or an instance of reconciliation between God and humans.
2.Tetragrammatron - The definition of that is The four Hebrew letters usually transliterated as YHWH or JHVH, used as a biblical proper name for God
7. Day Of The Baphomets - A baphomet is A corruption of Mahomet or Mohammed, the Arabian prophet.

Soo seeing as they named a few of their titles after a religion..you can imagine what some of the songs may include...or maybe even the whole concept of the album..

Apparently the full album has leaked, as of yesterday. I haven't seen it anywhere though. Hopefully it'll pop up within the next few days.

Nah, that's Vermicide. Asilos Magdalena also leaked a couple of days before that.

Yeah i heard rumors of that about a month or so ago from Thecomatorium.
...i only need to now wait like a month and a half...i just better hope the new alexisonfire leaks early...ill be on that just so im held back from Amputechture
