60s for sure.

Don't get me wrong, I love the new music out there, all of it. But who can beat the 60s? Honestly, how can ANY band compete with The Beatles, Jimi, the start of the Reggae movement and Bob Marley (although...granted reggae derived from ska).

There is just no justification why any of these current bands can even hold a candle to the forefathers of all modern rock.

Lol. Seriously, people stomping their feet/clapping is the basis for all music.
