I'd have to go with the 90's. If just for the first 5 years.

Bands like Pearl Jam, U2, R.E.M. all at the top of their game. Then the likes of Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alanis Morissette, Smashing Pumpkins, etc. Some great albums during that time from those bands.

I say the 90's. It was the golden era of pop punk and skate punk (and no, I'm not referring to Smash and Dookie). I guess a lot of the music and bands I listen to is from the 90's.

When Ifirst found this thread a while back, I voted present...Now I regret that choice, the 90's were MUCH better it was so hater free and free...Today people are trying to fit into an image.

It's a tough choice. The Beatles, The Who, The Kinks, The Rolling Stones were all sixties bands.

But I would have voted seventies. Music simply evolved during the seventies.
