The "before 60's" "decade," I suppose. I mean, sure, all music rests on it but it makes up the smallest portion of my library.

I havent voted myself, for any certain decade, as of yet also. But possibly, that may be the only way to inable any type of conclusion to, what is the most popular era of music. Even then, it would take more than everyone's vote on this forum, to make any viable out come. I would guess that most people here at banter prefer rock, metal, & rap. So no true answer could be obtained. Only a bias vote. It would have to be on a much larger scale, for any type of satisfactory conclusion to what is the most popular era. And that is only going back as far as the 60s. (Just my personal opinion). My favorite decade would have to be the 60s & 70s also. But to lose one favorite song within any era, would prove to much of a loss for my vote.

I would have to say the 60's and 70's. Back then music seemed to have a message. I miss that.

I voted 80's.

Most of my favourite metal bands formed in the early to mid 80's and some of my favourites before that period started getting recognition. NWOBHM \m/
